Real Wedding: A Destination Wedding with a Southern Charmed Reception

Posted by Sharon Bui at

From exotic beach to hometown southern, Maura and Gregory mixed-up tradition with their unique wedding and reception! The marine and his southern belle were joined in an intimate ceremony in Puerto Rico, and extended their big day celebration back to North Carolina to have friends and family joined in their reception. This unique setup offered the best of both worlds, and was a charming celebration of the couple's love.

Love the clear waves crashing in the background.

If you like it then you should put a bow on it!

The Rand Bryan House was a small cozy reception venue in Garner, North Carolina.

The wraparound porch was lined with cocktail tables, spray painted mason jars, and rocking chairs.

At the entrance was a table with cigars for the men and matches as party favors.

Of course, our first sight of Maura was her with a sun hat and monogrammed Jack Rogers.

The table settings were just perfect. Southern, classy and colorful.

Not your ordinary wedding dinner plate and photos of the couple to take home!

Love the lantern centerpieces with dainty flowers and votive candles!

Creative bride and groom seating with chalked titles marking their spot.

Yummm the sweets table with a fun navy sequined tablecloth!

Oh my word, the barreled beer and wine bar.

Can we be kids again?!

Gregory and Maura made it possible to have their dream destination wedding while finding a way to include all of their beloved family and friends!

Here is their wedding video, make sure you grab a tissue!

Friller love to the Newlyweds!
